Butt and Gut 500

Get ready to start your engines! (*sigh, I know that was cheezy but considering where I live it was bound to make an appearance!)

You can definitely add weights to this if you feel up to it, but I really wanted to focus on form. This is a great metabolic workout in its own right. Just make sure that if you do this with weights, you are paying attention to your form - this is a high rep workout, and you are not weak if you have to drop the weight load. :)

The exercises:

 

  1. 50 Good Morning, Darlings
  2. 25 2 Point Lunges each leg, once back and once to the side = 1 rep
  3. 25 Alternating Lunge Jumps (1l + 1r = 1 rep)
  4. 50 Flutter Kicks
  5. 25 Rear Lunge to Front Kick on each side
  6. 25 Squat w/ Alternating Front Kicks (1l+1r=1 rep... I know, I'm evil ;])
  7. 50 Leg Levers
  8. 50 Plies
  9. 25 Squat Jump-Jumps
  10. 50 Bicycles
  11. 50 High Tension Squats
  12. 25 Dynamic Squats

All abdominal exercises are from Navy SEALS. These guys rock!

Hey Melissa.. Thanks for this cooker. It got the job done. Those plies look like an easy part but at that point they're most definitely not!

Plies and Sumo Squats are the same, I just labeled it as both so that it would be recognized by either name. :)

And it was tough, but I am still doing it with a weighted vest when I get back from vaca - can't wait!
