The Start of my First Week with 35#!

I have that Curtis Mayfield song playing in my head, Move on Up! Seriously, I have to add the link for it here. Go ahead and play it while you are watching my vid - you will totally get a feel for what I was and still am feeling - and also because it's rather dry to watch 9 minutes of breathing with just a few comments about neighbors thinking I'm crazy. :p

I have dubbed my bell Sir Everest, but I will

reach the summit and he shall be overcome, and that will be the absolute pinnacle of my life in fitness thus far.

This is but a glimpse of ETK. If you would like more details on this program, buy the book. You absolutely will not regret it.

Wow, i just watched this video, will have to watch again, because i got al ittle confused about how many reps you were doing of presses, or was it all on a timer. I hate/love snatches. do you do any KB ab work, if so are the workouts on here?

Since I have started doing kettlebells, I don't do any separate ab work. I add some sets in with my bodyweight workouts, but that's it. Kettlebells use your core in every single thing you do, it's amazing. I have the best abs of my life, and not a single ab workout - who'd have thunk it?

For this workout, I am doing ladders from Enter the Kettlebell. You have rounds, or ladders, with different levels, each level (or rung) adds one extra rep. This is only a 3 ladders with 2 rungs 3x2. (confusing?) This wasn't meant to be a workout, just a celebration for my first ETK workout with 35#, 1/4 of my bodyweight and closer to my goal!
